| Summary: | Dialog of Spirits in the Universe” is a work resulting from the author's reflection
process which is poured into an ephemeral installation with symbolic forms during the
process. The idea of spirit and destiny is brought by the author as an attempt by the
author to communicate abstract things that are difficult to put into words but can be
felt when the reflection process occurs.
With wax material that has a spiritual meaning, the author uses it as the main medium
in conveying the idea of mortality. The fragile nature of candles symbolizes the divine
destiny that is bound to humans from birth to death. Human mortality is destined to be
tied to the spirit within humans like a timer that has been determined from the start
when that time runs out.
The author tries to convey this idea again in the form of an installation art in which the
author brings ephemeral and time-based ideas. With the three ideas of the medium, the
writer tries to recreate the feelings that arise when the writer carries out the process
of self-reflection. In this case, the writer realizes that the process of inward reflection
which is a process of personal journey can be felt by other people even with different
backgrounds when presented in the form of works of art.
