Description
Summary:In order to achieve sustainable construction, the Ministry of PUPR is fully committed to implementing BIM technology in infrastructure projects with the establishment of a BIM Implementation Roadmap from 2017 to 2022. For now the focus of BIM implementation is still in the adoption phase which includes the establishment of standards and protocols from the implementation of BIM which aims to achieve a common perception regarding the stages of work and the desired output of BIM between service users and service providers. The application of BIM needs to be analyzed and evaluated in order to create a more effective use of BIM by referring to the standard protocol that has been established. The project under review is the Yogyakarta Nahdlatul Ulama University project. The project is a pilot project that implements BIM with the guidelines for the BIM Protocol Document of the Ministry of PUPR 2020. The collection of BIM implementation data is carried out using interviews and questionnaires to the BIM project team, namely task executors, planning consultants, construction management consultants, and contractors. Furthermore, an analysis of the level of importance and the level of performance of BIM implementation factors on the project is carried out to determine policy priorities and evaluations that need to be carried out using Importance Performance Analysis. In addition, an analysis of the suitability of the application of BIM on the project to the BIM protocol standard of the Ministry of PUPR in 2020. The two analyzes yielded results, namely 6 factors whose implementation was not appropriate and needed improvement, 6 factors whose implementation was appropriate, and 3 factors that were not regulated. on standard. In addition, it was found that a number of factors were evaluated differently by the BIM implementation team on related projects between the nature of the quadrant and its suitability. This indicates that there is an incomplete understanding of the PUPR Ministry's BIM protocol standard. So that there is a need for socialization related to the implementation of BIM according to the BIM protocol standard of the Ministry of PUPR in 2020 by the Ministry of PUPR to all disciplines before the start of the project.
