Summary: | <b></i>Abstract :</b><i><p align="justify"><br />The thesis describes a new approach and system platform for distributed supervision and monitoring in distributed object oriented applications, Architecture of the system uses 3-tier architecture, with the main point on the middle or often called middleware. The tier contains applications built in the distributed framework based on Java-RMI(Remote Method Invocation).<br /><p align="justify">The advantage of the system is on its ablitiy to integrate the output of SCADA ( Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition ) Wonderwarei'm application through DDE ( Dynamic Data Exchange ) communication facility. The Wonderware'M output is taken by JNI ( Java Native Interface ) application via DLL ( Dynamic Link Library ). Then it is sent to Server, called IOServer in the thesis, as RMI Server, and it is stored in the database. The data can be visualized in browser by the on line user view web. The delivering technology is using Applet and Servlet as the client for IOServer, and user can access database using JSP ( Java Server Pages ) technology via browser. The data package in the system is applying XML technology. It is purposed that the designed application does not depend on the format of delivered data packages.<br /> |
