Description
Summary:Cooperative is a business entity that aims to fulfill the aspirations and needs of its members based on the principles of kinship and economic democracy. Nevertheless, cooperatives have several problems in their management, such as the lack of interest and knowledge of the community about cooperatives and the lack of efficiency of cooperative activities. The concept of this cooperative can be applied to the domain of chicken farm considering that there are several problems, such as difficulty in accessing information on a good quality DOC and the correct way about livestock rearing techniques. From those problems, an application called CoopChick was created, which is a platform that can connect people related to chicken farming business under the auspices of a digital cooperative application. The work on the CoopChick application is divided into four main modules, namely membership and member activity recording module, finance, e-commerce, and knowledge management which are integrated into a complete digital cooperative. The knowledge management module can provide and manage information and knowledge. The development process is carried out with agile scrum method which is carried out in 11 sprints. The end result of the development is a user interface display and a collection of endpoints needed to process data in the application. Tests are carried out starting from unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user testing. The application that has been built has answered the requirement and needs that have been defined previously.
