Summary: | Suiseki are stones of high artistic value that have been eroded or carved by water over a long period of time. Suiseki has several classifications of shapes that resemble certain objects with full meaning, such as the image of Punakawan which is one of the cultural and hereditary heritages that is quite well known in Indonesia. The elements of body shape in Punakawan have their own character but are interrelated and full of meaning. Through visual studies and glaze exploration which aims to represent Suiseki's visual aesthetics by applying Punakawan's image through ceramic works. Ceramic has a similar material that is identical to Suiseki's material. The main material used in the manufacture of this work is clay through a high-temperature firing process. The research carried out resulted in an interior product in the form of Suiseki glazed ceramics with the image of Punakawan. |
