In this method, steam is injected into a reservoir to reduce the oil viscosity. This process can remove the oil easily. The aim of this final project is to derive a mathematical model regarding steam injection method in reservoir with bottom water. In this final project, convection diffusion equation will be considered as the governing equations. Using these equations, heated area and the surrounding temperature can be calculated. Furthermore, some assumption has been built in order to obtain diffusion equation as a simple model that used to solve the convection diffusion equation in reservoir with bottom water. Temperature distribution which is a solution of diffusion equation will be shown in this final project. text |
