It is found in classical batik which is still thick with the standard elements of the Palace as a center for preserving Javanese culture. Through the study of classical batik, the writer understands the concept of Kacu ratio that used in the process of making batik. For the writer, the kacu is a local form of genius that belongs to the Javanese community. A concept of awareness of "empty space" that permeates all forms of material that exist in the universe. The empty space is understood as absolute space which is the beginning and basis for the relative space of man. And there is absolute time that permeates all events that occur. Absolute time and space are understood as a fate that determines the relative time and space of humans. Whereas relative time and space are understood like the freedom that humans have. In this idea, the writer is interested in the problem of how the relation between the absolute time and space and the relative time and space of human. Through the abstract formalist approach, the writer wants to bring the problem as an art work concept. As well as how relationships are formed when confronted with the relative time and space of human.
