INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/66758 PT. Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) is an Indonesian company that mines coal and distributes it to domestic and international clients in several of industrial sectors. The government granted permission to PT. KPC for exploration and exploitation on a concession area of 90,938 ha of land in Sangatta and Bengalon, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan. At the end of 2019, there was a COVID-19 pandemic that originated in Wuhan, China and spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. To prevent the spread of the virus, the Indonesian government implements health protocols, one of which is by regulation from the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia with Permenhub No. 41 of 2020 on Transportation Control in the Context of Preventing the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) “The number of passengers in general motorized vehicles, such as passenger cars and buses, is restricted to no more than 50% (fifty percent) of the total seating capacity, and physical distancing is used.” Indicating that the impact of the minister of transportation's regulation also affects transportation in PT. Kaltim Prima Coal (hereinafter called as “KPC”), PT KPC selected the best of two bus vendors that are already used, namely K3PC and Arafat. The purpose of this final project is to help PT KPC to make the right decisions in choosing daily transportation for employees based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). There are five criteria considered to selection of bus vendors in this research, namely: Fuel Burned, Maintenance, Capacity, Comfort, and Rental Price. This research then produces the following sequence of criteria: Capacity (17.45 Points), Maintenance (9.52 Points), Fuel (5.77 Points), Rental Prices (2.90 Points), and Convenience (2.36 Points). Furthermore, the order of the chosen alternatives is as follows: K3PC (57.08 Points) and Arafat (18.83 Points). Based on the results of this study, the bus vendor selected for PT KPC employees' daily transportation will be approached for variation of contract in accordance with the company's text
