During this situation, several sectors have made several changes to adapt to this situation. One sector that has had a major impact due to the pandemic is the health sector. Healthcare sectors from several countries have made some policy changes such as limiting the number of patients to minimize the transmission of COVID-19, as well as adopting electronic-based systems such as telehealth. Telehealth allows healthcare institutions to provide online health services without direct contact with patients. In addition, this system can also be used for communication between healthcare institutions and between healthcare workers. However, in several developing countries, including Indonesia, the application of this system is still limited, unlike telemedicine, which has been applied in several healthcare institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to determine which factors can influence the intentions of Indonesian healthcare workers towards telehealth applications in the future by using the modified unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) framework that was modified with several additional variables. This study was conducted using a quantitative method, namely partial least squarestructural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), to analyze the relationship between variables in the framework. The survey was conducted online with several healthcare institutions in Surakarta and Bandung cities. Participants in this study consisted of 200 doctors and nurses who handled patients directly in their daily work. With 90 doctors and 110 nurses as respondents, it was found that several factors influence the intention to use telehealth which are effort expectancy, facilitating condition, technology anxiety, self-efficacy, and social influence, have an influence on the intention to use telehealth. Effort expectancy has the biggest influence on the intentions of healthcare workers (? = 0.347, p-Value = 0.000), followed by self-efficacy (? = 0.243, p-Value = 0.000). In addition, a significant relationship was also found between effort expectancy and performance expectancy, self-efficacy, and effort expectancy. Unfortunately, performance expectancy and perceived security and data have no effect regarding the intention (t-value <1.96). With the results obtained in this research, it is hoped that healthcare institutions can pay attention to the factors that affect the intentions of healthcare workers so that they can optimize the implementation of telehealth in the future. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several business sectors. During this
situation, several sectors have made several changes to adapt to this situation. One
sector that has had a major impact due to the pandemic is the health sector.
Healthcare sectors from several countries have made some policy changes such as
limiting the number of patients to minimize the transmission of COVID-19, as well
as adopting electronic-based systems such as telehealth. Telehealth allows
healthcare institutions to provide online health services without direct contact with
patients. In addition, this system can also be used for communication between
healthcare institutions and between healthcare workers. However, in several
developing countries, including Indonesia, the application of this system is still
limited, unlike telemedicine, which has been applied in several healthcare
institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to determine which factors can influence
the intentions of Indonesian healthcare workers towards telehealth applications in
the future by using the modified unified theory of acceptance and use of technology
(UTAUT) framework that was modified with several additional variables. This
study was conducted using a quantitative method, namely partial least squarestructural
equation modeling (PLS-SEM), to analyze the relationship between
variables in the framework. The survey was conducted online with several
healthcare institutions in Surakarta and Bandung cities. Participants in this study
consisted of 200 doctors and nurses who handled patients directly in their daily
work. With 90 doctors and 110 nurses as respondents, it was found that several
factors influence the intention to use telehealth which are effort expectancy,
facilitating condition, technology anxiety, self-efficacy, and social influence, have
an influence on the intention to use telehealth. Effort expectancy has the biggest
influence on the intentions of healthcare workers (? = 0.347, p-Value = 0.000),
followed by self-efficacy (? = 0.243, p-Value = 0.000). In addition, a significant
relationship was also found between effort expectancy and performance
expectancy, self-efficacy, and effort expectancy. Unfortunately, performance
expectancy and perceived security and data have no effect regarding the intention
(t-value <1.96). With the results obtained in this research, it is hoped that healthcare
institutions can pay attention to the factors that affect the intentions of healthcare
workers so that they can optimize the implementation of telehealth in the future.
