Maintenance activities for production equipment handled by Functional Maintenance Libo team (FUM Libo). One of critical production equipment facility in Libo Area is Caterpillar Gas Engine as a prime mover for Gas Compressor. One of maintenance performance parameter that should be monitored is Mean Time to repair (MTTR). Overall, until January 2022, MTTR value for FUM Libo is only 58% from target which is far away from target. In order to improve MTTR value, FUM Libo need to mapping problem that affect to MTTR. Using Current Reality Tree (CRT) Diagram as a method for Root Cause Analysis, one of main root cause is there is no system inventory management spare part that already established well for Caterpillar Engine. An inventory system is the set of policies and controls that monitor levels of inventory and determine what levels should be maintained, when stock should be replenished, and how large orders should be. Inventory control system divided into two types, which are singleperiod inventory system and multiperiod inventory system. Multiperiod inventory system have 2 (two) general system: fixed-order quantity models or Q-models, and fixed-time period models or P-models. This study will calculate for both models in order to determine best suitable models to be implemented. In order to get more reliable option, sensitivity analysis was conducted to find out impact of uncertainty or change from input that can affect output result also to increase understanding of the relationships between input and output variables in a system or model. Final parameter results in this inventory management system that need to be compare is Average Inventory Level (AIL) value. In order to decide which alternative to choose, Simple Decision Matrix Analysis with Weighting Factor is used as a selection method. As a result, Q-models was selected to be implemented. text
