INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/66910 Earthquakes result from the sudden release of energy in the earth's crust due to the limit of the ability to withstand stress on the crust has been exceeded. In its propagation, the earthquake wave will experience a characteristic change, namely a strengthening of the amplitude (amplification) when it enters the medium / rock layer that has a lower impedance. In this study, the amplification value of earthquake waves will be mapped by surface sediment layers in the Anyer area and its surroundings. The subsurface sediment model was obtained from the inversion of single station microtremor data measured at 51 measurement points spread over this area. Data were collected using a Mark L4C-3D seismometer with a natural frequency of 1 Hz and recorded with the Hakusan LS 7000 XT Datamark logger. The results of the amplification calculations obtained ranged from 1 to 1.57 with high amplification in the Gunungsugih District and the north of Kepuh District in the Anyer area. text |
