Since September 2021, Bandung City has implemented a program to buy UCO from the community as an effort to manage UCO. Because many citizens are unaware of the program and carelessly discard their UCO, it is believed that the program still needs improvement. The objectives of this research are to make recommendations for the UCO management system in Bandung City based on willingness to participate, ability to pay (ATP), and willingness to pay (WTP). The research was conducted by interviews and distributing questionnaire to the local community with 498 respondents who are divided into 8 city area unit and 3 economic strata. Data analysis methods are Likert scale for willingness to participate, household budget for ability to pay, and contingent valuation method for willingness to pay. The result shows that the citizen of Bandung City has a very high participation rate for UCO management, the ATP value was IDR 21.554, and the average WTP value was IDR 5.680. Then spearman-rho test was done to study the factors that influence willingness to pay. The result indicated that the correlation rate of household income and expense are moderate. Based on this analysis, a recommendation for UCO management system was storing, curbside collection system, transportation, and processing of UCO into biodiesel. Used cooking oil processing has potential in Indonesia with the B30 mandatory from the government which is planned to be increased to B40. Based on the needs of used cooking oil management fees, the fee that needs to be paid by the community for the management of used cooking oil is IDR 5,860. text
