Description
Summary:Halim Perdana Kusuma International Airport is one of the International airports located in Jakarta. This Airport is a commercial airport which is also the headquarters of the First Air Force Operation Command. This airport has a total area of 1.87 km2 which drainase planning must be considered so excessive inundation does not occur and trigger overflows from the drainage. Drainage planning of this airport uses 15 years of return period according to the regulation. Steps that involve the drainage system planning include hydrological analysis, drainage capacity planning and cost of making. The cross section in this drainage planning is using a rectangle shape with bottom width twice the depth and there are two cross drains across the runway with size of 2000x2000 mm. This drainage system planning was verified by SWMM software in order to get channel ability to accommodate run-off from subcatchment. Runoff flow output is used to simulate the inundation that occurs in an existing sewer to determine if the existing sewer is flooded or not. This software is based on time history so users are able to look at response from water level in channel to time.
