Summary: | The Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) Toll Road is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring
Road (JORR) III. The purpose of the construction of the outer ring toll road,
especially the BORR Toll Road, is to separate traffic within the city of Bogor and
traffic that only passes through the city of Bogor. The BORR Toll Road is divided
into three sections connecting South Sentul to the Salabenda intersection.
Currently, the construction of the BORR Section IIIB Toll Road is being planned,
which stretches from the Semplak Intersection to the Salabenda Interchange. Part
of the BORR Section IIIB Toll Road will be built as an overpass on the existing
road, namely Jalan KH Soleh Iskandar.
This final project discusses the geotechnical design of the BORR Section IIIB Toll
Road which consists of the design of foundations and embankments. The design of
the preloading embankment is applied in the form of a sand heap with a stockpile
height in accordance with the stockpiling area. Preloading will increase the
strength of the soil (strength gain) by applying the load and consolidating the soil
at the project site. The embankment was carried out in stages and the slope stability
of the embankment was analyzed using PLAXIS 2D software. The application of
prefabricated vertical drain is also carried out to speed up soil consolidation time
on non-elevated road segments.
The design of the foundation design aims as a structure that can withstand the loads
of the structure above it. Foundation design analysis was carried out manually
which included the carrying capacity of single piles, pile groups, and modeled using
PLAXIS 3D software to see the settlement size. The type of foundation used is a drilled pile foundation designed for each pillar with varying pile lengths, namely
32 m, 34 m, and 36 m. |
