However, the development of the palm oil industry, especially in Indonesia, has many challenges related to environmental issues that are reported. In response to this, one of the private plantations was owned by PT. X is in Bangka Belitung Province and initiated the application of a green industry concept in utilized of renewable energy with a solar panel system as a power plant to support one of the plantation activities, namely the nursery stage. This study will evaluate the environmental impact of these activities using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method based on SNI 14040:2016. This method is expected to determine the magnitude of the environmental impact resulting from the use of renewable energy and compare it with a conventional system. The scope of this research is a cradle to gate with a functional unit of 1 single palm seedling produced for 12 months. The impact categories reviewed are Global Warming Potential (GWP), Eutrophication Potential (EP), Acidification Potential (AP), and Waste (W). In addition, observations of Water Footprint, Economic Analysis, and Plant Growth were observed as supporting observations. The LCIA results show that the solar panel system and its activities contribute significantly to reducing GWP by 15%, AP by 22%, EP by 10%, and water use efficiency from water footprint observations by 79%. The interpretation results produce recommendations for improvement and development of the product system in the form of reducing the dose of fertilizer and reducing the dose of water to the nursery, this is expected to increase emission reductions even higher. text
