However, they have a bad performance in achieving the OKR. This research is analyzing whether grit has a correlation with their job performance and the influential factors to their grit levels. In this study, the researcher analyzes the grit levels of each member, how grit correlates with the job performance, and what is factor that influence their grit levels. This research is using grit scale, in-depth interview, and focus group discussion to identify the correlation between grit and job performance and find out the lowest antecedents owned by each member in order to find out the critical variable that should be concerned by other start-up companies to maintain good performance. The results from grit scale indicate that members with initial JJ has grit score 3.5, LK has grit score 3.9, and SS has grit score 2.29. From the comparison between the grit score of the members and their performance in OKR of 7th semester in Interaxe.ID, it can be concluded that the higher grit levels of the members lead to better job performance and grit has a diminishing return effect on their job performance. The factors that cause a person's high and low grit are analyzed through grit antecedents. Grit was built through antecedents: purpose, hardiness, conscientiousness, self-regulation, and self-efficacy. Based on the open coding of the antecedents, self-regulation which caused by procrastinating and being irresponsible become the influential factors in determining the grit levels of the members which correlated with their bad performance in Interaxe.ID. text |
