Summary: | Implementation of Green Building at Bandung City are regulated by Bandung
Mayor Regulation No. 1023 of 2016 about Green Building. The new building that
still on the design phase are required to follows the regulation and must be assessed
by the regulation, so that the simulation must be performed to predict the building
performance. However, the said regulation still lacking of energy and daylight performance
criteria at the moment and it can lead to obstruction at the assessment
phase. Proposed criteria for the said regulation using the metric of Energy Usage
Intensity (EUI), SDA300/50%, and ASE1000,250. These metrics already used as performance
indicator in Green Building standard reference in this research, that are
GREENSHIP, Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 38 of 2012 about Green Building,
and LEED v4. The purpose of this research is to generate EUI, sDA300/50%, and
ASE1000,250 value so it can be used as reference for new energy and daylight performance
criteria in Bandung Mayor Regulation No. 1023 of 2016.
To achieve a purpose of this research, modeling and simulation of building are
performed using the Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Insight respectively. Building
model of educational and office are created, then its passive design, that are building
orientation, Windows-Wall Ratio (WWR), glass material, and wall material, are
varied until it has ninety design combination for each building. The interval value
of average with 95% confidence level shows EUI and SDA300/50% can fulfill the criteria
of standard reference, but not with ASE1000,250. Sensitivity analysis performed
in this research to determine most significant passive design parameter that impact
the energy and daylight performance. WWR is the most significant passive design
parameter that impact the energy and daylight performance of building. The results
of sensitivity analysis are used to propose new criteria building design. The proposed
energy dan daylight performance criteria in this research are based on value
at 1st quartile, 2nd quartile, 3rd quartile, and criteria at standard reference.
Proposed energy and daylight performance criteria for Bandung Mayor Regulation
No. 1023 of 2016 based on simulation results of this research are:
• For educational building, One Star if EUI 230-259 kWh/m2/year, Two Star if
EUI 209-230 kWh/m2/year, and Three Star if EUI < 209 kWh/m2/year and for
office building, One Star if EUI 169-181 kWh/m2/year, Two Star if EUI <
163-169 kWh/m2/year, dan Three Star if EUI < 163 kWh/m2/year.
• One Star if SDA300/50% > 30%, Two Star if SDA300/50% > 49%, dan Three Star
if SDA300/50% > 75% with threshold ASE1000,250 < 10 %. The additional requirement
about building envelope optimization also added for the building with
longest wall facing East-West side and WWR > 30%.
