Light is one of the electromagnetic waves that has been widely used and manipulated in the world of science and technology, one of which is for display screens. The display screen requires the ability to emit light properly, so that the colors displayed on the display screen can be seen clearly. Man-made materials are material that have a response that does not occur in nature or whose response can be controlled. One of the artificial materials is a metasurface, which is a 2D planar structure. In this Final Project, we will look for the possibility of using a metasurface with a crescent cylindrical unit cell as an RGB display screen by utilizing the Fano asymmetric resonance that occurs in the metasurface structure used. After confirming the occurrence of Fano resonance in the metasurface structure used in this Final Project, the metasurface structure parameters will be varied to yield for the Fano profile with the smallest FWHM. Structural parameters that will be varied in this final project include the radius of the outer cylinder, the radius of the inner cylinder and the distance between the two centers of the cylinder. After obtaining the structure with the smallest FWHM, it will also be studied the influence of the angle of incidence on the transmittance profile. At the end of this Final Project, a scale transformation will be made on the parameters used to obtain a structure with a Fano profile at other wavelengths. text
