Description
Summary:There are 17 creative economy sub-sectors in the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), some of the leading sub-sectors in Bandung City are design, music, fashion, and culinary. One of the creative activities that are currently developing in the people of Bandung City is that there are several creative villages/ kampongs spreading all around Bandung City, each of which has certain potential and characteristics. However, some of the problems faced by these creative kampongs are the lack of exposure to urban villages as a creative kampong, the lack of involvement of the creative kampong community and community participation in the running of creative kampongs, and the lack of education the urban villagers have regarding the knowledge on the potential of creative local businesses their kampongs could have been. Furthermore, there is no physical place to accommodate, facilitate and create a creative environment for creative economy entrepreneurs in these creative villages at the moment. The purpose of this Creative Kampongs Center design is to make this project a creative hub that connects various actors in creative kampongs with the people of Bandung City. It is hoped that this project can be used as a 'melting pot' for the creative kampong community and the people of Bandung City. This project is expected to be a place to connect, collaborate, for people to be creative, and to increase the involvement of various arts and cultural communities to participate in artistic and creative activities. By taking the context into account, the expected potential users are creative kampong residents who are also creative economy actors, especially those engaged in 4 leading sub-sectors (design, music, fashion, and culinary) in Bandung City. The design of this creative village center, which is a fictitious project, is located on Jl. Ir. H. Juanda, Coblong District, Dago Village, Bandung City, West Java with a land area of ±11,000 sqm. The project is assumed to be initiated by the main actors, namely the creative village residents as the main actors, and supporting actors such as the initiators of the creative village concept, BCCF (Bandung Creative City Forum), creative communities, and volunteer triads. To further finance and support the project, this project is expected to have donors through Corporate Social Safety Responsibility – CSSR, which in this case is the main actor, in addition to the Bandung City Government. This facility accommodates five main functions, namely the participatory production function, education and collaboration, event space, appreciation, and culinary. Broadly speaking, this creative complex is the result of the collaborating actors who have the same motivation in developing creativity for the advancement of the creative economy and social welfare of the creative village community in Bandung City.
