Batu City is a tourist city blessed with fertile land and beautiful scenery based in the agricultural sector. In 2001, artificial tourism started to develop in Batu City. The success of the first artificial tourism was followed by the massive development of artificial tourism called Disneyzation in Batu City. The massive uncontrollable development of artificial tourism inflicts economic, social, and environmental problems on Batu City. The booming of artificial tourism leads to land use shifting, declining professions of farmers, and transformation of the agriculture-based economy into an artificial tourism-based economy in the future. Therefore, the tourism sector needs to be integrated with agriculture, the environment, and local communities to maintain environmental sustainability and community well-being in Batu City. Agricultural facility equipped with food hub, community center, and agriculture educational tourism can accommodate tourism while supporting the agriculture sector and farmer communities in Batu City by increasing farmer’s human resource quality, promoting an agriculture-based economy, and creating agriculture educational tourism to support the tourism sector and farmer’s community. This facility aims to support the development of the agriculture sector in Batu City by accommodating education for local farmer’s communities and cutting the distribution chain of agricultural commodities to improve farmers’ wellbeing. This facility also accommodates agriculture educational tourism to evoke agro-tourism in Batu City.
