Description
Summary:Kabupaten Bandung Barat is an area crossed by the high-speed train line. The sub-districts that are crossed by the high-speed rail line are Ngamprah sub-district and Desa Gadobangkong. There is potential in the area of the high-speed rail line, such as the vacant land at the bottom of the high-speed rail line. The area is surrounded by informal settlements as well as rail transportation facilities. However, there are problems in the area of the high-speed rail line, such as poor environmental visual conditions and poor environmental health quality, namely slums and tend to be gloomy. The design of the area under the fast train line is divided into 3 segments, namely the residential segment, the urban segment and the industrial segment. In the design area there are several problems such as poor air quality, floods occur in the rainy season, then the area under the paper tends to be slums due to spilled market activities. The design approach used is sociable public space and green corridor. The concept of a friendly public open space makes the area under the fast train line a means of relaxation for visitors, both from the surrounding community and industrial workers. The entire design of this area applies green infrastructure whose resources are carried out independently, such as the concept of rainwater harvesting, then the source of electrical energy comes from solar power. With the design of the area under the fast train line as a friendly public open space, the design area can become an image for the urban area of West Bandung Regency, especially in Ngamprah District.
