Soil improvements are carried out on the apron, runway, and taxiway areas with the aim of accelerating consolidation time and increasing the bearing capacity of the soil so the soil can receive loads during the operational period. The soil improvement method chosen is preloading with prefabricated vertical drain (PVD). Modeling for determining slope stability was carried out using PLAXIS 2D. The foundation used in the T1 terminal building is driven pile with diameter of 600 mm. The foundation analysis carried out includs the carrying capacity of single piles and pile groups, determination of the type of driven pile foundation, and foundation settlement. The calculation of the axial bearing capacity is done manually and the lateral bearing capacity using Ensoft GROUP software. Calculation for the settlement of the foundation was carried using PLAXIS 3D. The foundation will be installed to a depth of 21 meters. text
