Summary: | China Communications Services Corporation Limited (CCS) is a leading service provider providing integrated support services in the information sector, including telecommunications, media and technology. PT China Comservice Indonesia in West Java Region conducts its business activities based on projects at consumers' request, so the company does not have permanent employees and only employs employees through contracts. With the company's employees who are not permanent, working on the project will be hampered because the company often experiences a shortage of human resources when starting the next project.
This research aims to provide solutions to companies regarding existing problems. To answer these issues, the researcher uses qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach by understanding and describing an event that occurs in an organization. Researchers conducted interviews with key informants at the company to get a direct picture of the problems that happened in the company. Based on the issues obtained by researchers at the company often experience a shortage of human resources when there is a new project, causing a lack of effectiveness and efficiency of the company in carrying out the next project. With this, the researcher analysed company data and situation regarding people resourcing strategy related to human resource planning, recruitment and selection, talent management, and employee retention planning. From these four factors, the researcher found that the root cause of the company's problems was ineffective and inefficient in managing the company's people resourcing strategy.
Based on these issues, the researcher recommends that companies create programs that support human resource practice through a people resourcing strategy, starting with human resource planning, recruitment and selection, talent management, and employee retention planning. The program aims to design well to manage contract workers, conduct an efficient recruitment and selection process, and get competent and loyal employees into the company. These programs can help the company to improve the performance of the company and its employees. It also supports giving an excellent image to the company.
