Adolescence is a phase where humans are in the process of finding their identity. Along with the development of the era, there are differences in the characteristics of adolescents from time to time. Teenagers today are mostly dominated by Gen-Z who were born between 1996 – 2010. Adolescents are an important aspect in the development of a country, therefore it is necessary to accommodate them. Youth center is a space or place intended for teenagers to take advantage of their free time by doing various useful activities and actualizing themselves in a more positive direction. Along with the development of the era, youth center are increasingly being abandoned by teenagers because of the lack of efforts in redeveloping the development of youth centers in Indonesia. One of the phenomena that occurs is in the city of Semarang, where there are no buildings that are able to specifically accommodate the younger generation. In order to overcome this phenomenon, an architectural response is needed in the form of a modern youth center development project that is in accordance with the characteristics of Gen-Z in the city of Semarang. The aim of this project is to support the individual development of Gen-Z, to be a home for the development of youth communities, and to symbolize the spirit of the young people of Semarang City. The buildings facilities will consists of : training facilities, commercial facilities, and recreational facilities that will be opened for teenagers in Semarang City and the general public. This project is expected to reactivate the development of youth centers as a means of developing youth in Indonesia.
