Summary: | Aircraft is kinds of transportation that has an important role in the economy and defense sector, especially for the Indonesian archipelago, which consists of 7,000 islands stretching 5,150 kilometers (3,200 miles) east to west between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific in Southeast Asia, with the main challenges being providing adequate transportation to connect the islands. Based on the geographical characteristics of this country, Indonesia positions itself as a center for the maritime and aviation industries, which leads to the development of a promising national aircraft industry. The growth of a modern and complete aircraft industry in Indonesia has just begun, along with all aspects of infrastructure, facilities, human resources, laws and regulations relating to the existence of the aircraft industry. To prepare everything, Indonesia, in this case, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), must be able to answer all challenges both now and in the future.
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), formerly known as IPTN, is the first and only manufacturing industry in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. To answer all current challenges, coupled with the rapid development of the times in this decade, PT Dirgantara Indonesia must be able to prepare everything to realize the dream of a better Indonesian nation. To answer this challenge, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) must have a good business strategy and must also prepare a good corporate culture as a foundation so that the company's business strategy can run well.
The purpose of this thesis is to determine how the corporation can establish a good corporate culture that will benefit the company's business. The Ministry of SOEs has stated that every state-owned enterprise must possess the following core values: A (Amanah), K (Kompeten), H (Harmonis), L (Loyal), A (Adaptif), and K (Kolaboratif). And the expectation is that, this AKHLAK can provide significant value to its personnel in the company's operations.
