However, this concept often creates a new problem is the gentrification of low-income people who live in TOD areas. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive study of the conditions and characteristics of the people living in the area so that development can adjust to existing principles and needs. The Terminal Leuwipanjang area is one of the areas that will be developed as a TOD in the city of Bandung. This study seeks to identify the compatibility of community socio-economic conditions and travel behavior to the plan of the TOD Leuwipanjang area. The analytical methods used in this study include descriptive analysis, spatial analysis, and gap analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, socio-economic conditions and community travel behavior show compatibility in terms of diversity in economic levels, travel diversity, and family structure as multifamily housing, while the incompatibility of characteristics can be seen from several things, such as large household size, middle-class economic level, travel behavior is dominated by the use of motorized vehicles, and the high direction of movement externally has not been fully served by the plan. Based on those conditions, development in the TOD Leuwipanjang area includes provide affordable housing, improve pedestrian infrastructure, provide facilities that are not yet available for open spaces, and increase inter-mode connectivity of mass transportation out of the Leuwipanjang area. text |
