THE ASSESSMENT OF THE CURRENT SITUATION TO CONDUCT A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE ELECTRIC CHARGING STATION PROJECT IN WEST JAVA TO SUPPORT THE TRANSITION OF CLEAN ENERGY IN INDONESIA
The human need for energy as a resource used in daily activities is increasing. This is influenced by the high population from year to year. The most visible example of energy use in Indonesia is its use for transportation purposes. But in the long term, the result of the use of energy made from fos...

This is influenced by the high population from year to year. The most visible example of energy use in Indonesia is its use for transportation purposes. But in the long term, the result of the use of energy made from fossils (non-renewable energy) can cause pollution and cause the greenhouse effect. So that attention is needed, to minimize this impact. One of them is by making a transition from the use of non-renewable energy to renewable energy as the main energy source for each mode of transportation. To assess these things, external factor analysis was carried out using PESTLE and Industry Analysis as well as internal factors using SWOT. This will provide an overview of the emergence of new business potential, namely the electricity charging retail business. Furthermore, the feasibility of this business is assessed, with a feasibility study within the next 10 years. Although currently, the clean energy transition is supported by the government and the volatile conditions for non-renewable energy types, there are limitations for renewable energy investment, especially the use of fuel in electric vehicles (because of the high cost of equipment, and the low number of electric vehicles in Indonesia) and causing business retail electric charging, is still not feasible in the next 10 years. So this will hinder the clean energy transition program. Furthermore, what can be considered to influence this business project is the number of EVs in Indonesia. text |
