Artocarpus communis is widely known by Indonesian people as a plan which produces fruits that have economic value. The research is aimed to isolate secondary metabolite contents from the woods of A.communis (Kelewih) growing in West Java. The isolation of the metabolite involved three stages of laboratory works namely extraction, fractionation, and purification, using a number of chromatographic methods. The molecule structures of the isolated compounds were determined based on the analysis of spectroscopic data, including UV, IR, and NMR. Based on the result of this research, five compounds were isolated. These are two 2-aribenzofuran derivatives, namely artoindonesianin Z and glyinflanin H, two stilben derivatives namely chlorophorin and artoindonesianin F, and one flavanoid derivatives namely dihidromorin. It is for the first time that glyinflanin H isolated from Artocarpus, meanwhile the other four compounds have ever been found in A.communis. <br />
