Libraries are identical with so many library collections that to facilitate users in searching or browsing a collection, a library catalog is needed. ITB has a mobile application for searching ITB library catalog, ITB Library. However, currently the ITB Library application is still considered not optimal in terms of appearance based on the application of interaction design principles, such as layout to visual hierarchy in the application, user flow and user comfort and features. Based on these problems, in this final project, the development of interaction design is carried out with the aim of improving the current ITB Library application. The interaction design approach used is user-centered design so that problems can be seen from the user's point of view. Usability goals to be achieved are effective to use, have good utility, and easy to learn while user experience goals to be achieved is helpful. The final result of this final project is a high-fidelity prototype that is tested by usability testing. The test was measured by task completion rate which scored 100%, System Usability Scale (SUS) which scored 93 out of 100, Single Ease Question (SEQ) which scored 6.7 out of 7, and Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) which scored 6.7 out of 7 for the value/usefulness subscale in the third iteration of testing. Based on these tests, the interaction design of the ITB Library application has met the usability goals and user experience goals to be achieved. text
