Summary: | According to Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) groundwater is all kind of water that seeps from the soil surface to the rock layers. One of the most widely used methods in groundwater exploration is the geoelectric method. In the geoelectric method, there are several electrode configurations frequently used, namely Wenner configuration, Schlumberger configuration, Dipole-dipole configuration, Pole-pole configuration, Pole-Dipole configuration, and Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. In this study, the
distribution of groundwater was carried out using the Wenner configuration geoelectric method. This configuration was chosen because to get the distribution of groundwater potential, a horizontal measurement technique is needed. This research was conducted at Teknik Sipil field in ITB with three measurements with three different paths. The data obtained is in the form of apparent resistivity of rocks at each depth. Then the data is processed using the RES2DINV and Surfer13 program. The results obtained in the form of contours of the underground surface. Based on the image of the contour of the underground surface, there are color differences that indicate changes in resistivity. This resistivity change indicates the distribution of the subsurface layer. Based on the distribution of the subsurface layer, the potential distribution of groundwater at Teknik Sipil field in ITB is obtained. |
