Description
Summary:Cargo drones are generally used in the military, with increasingly advanced developments. Cargo drones are used for freight forwarding services for civil society. The IA-25 drone is a drone that will carry out a mission to deliver goods from Jakarta to Bandung. These freight forwarding missions are operation specific, so an assessment is needed to ensure that the aircraft can fly safely. The risk begins by using the instructions and methods provided in SAEARP-4761 which describes the safety assessment process for civil aircraft. In the security assessment process, it is necessary to do various things, namely explaining the function of the aircraft, determining the failure conditions for each function of the aircraft, then describing each failure using fault tree analysis (FTA), and obtaining system functions to determine the level of security of the aircraft. The risks obtained from the safety assessment process become the basis for conducting a Specific Operation Risk Assessment (SORA), on the mission of shipping goods with BVLOS operations on the IA-25 Drone, the results show that the aircraft can fly safely, but has a high enough risk, so it needs to be ensured level of safety when the aircraft performs operations
