Description
Summary:Viruses and bacteria as agents that could cause infectious disease in humans have had many negative impacts in the world. In Indonesia, vaccination programs had taken place as a form of prevention against infectious diseases caused by viruses and bacteria. However, there are people who do not understand about the vaccination program and consequently refuse the vaccination programs provided by the government. There are several factors that lead to a lack of public trust in vaccines, such as unsureness about the effectiveness of vaccines and unsureness about their safety. Lack of trust about vaccines can be resolved by the existence of a facility that can provide information about vaccination and its supporting components. This facility aims to provide information about vaccination to the public through an interactive and informative space experience. To achieve this goal, a Vaccine Information Center was designed with ‘explore the micro’ as the main concept, which utilizes interior elements such as shape and space circulation to create a space that is able to provide a space exploration experience and raise awareness of visitors on the importance of vaccination.
