The increasing population in Indonesia causes the need for clean water to increase. Meanwhile, the supply of clean water has decreased significantly, both in quantity and quality. One of the most widely used water sources for the use of clean water is ground water. Geoelectric resistivity 2D dipoledipole configuration method is one method that can be used to determine the distribution of groundwater. In this study, the measurement of the geoelectric method in the Civil Engineering Field area of ITB was carried out to find the distribution of groundwater potential. This study aims to find out information about subsurface rock parameters in the form of rock layer resistivity values. With this information, it will be known the existence of an aquifer layer that has the potential as groundwater. This research was conducted with three tracks that have a length of 120 m. The resulting depth of measurement is 15.7 m. Groundwater which is suspected to be shallow groundwater is in the resistivity range of 32.3 to 94.5 m spread at a depth of 10 to 15.7 m. This is supported by the presence of wells around the location which have a depth of approximately 10 m. This research is stimating, so it would be better to do further research and there should be a reference for interpretation results using local drill data. text
