Description
Summary:Potentially rich culture of Cirebon has made it included in the list of areas being developed by the West Java Provincial Government as a leading tourism destination since 2018. Different from Sundanese and Javanese, the cultural products of Cirebon were influenced by the mixture of Chinese, Arabic and Hinduism which started from a small hamlet called Caruban (english: mixed), located on the north coast of Java Island. The acculturation that occurred on the coast of Cirebon resulted in various ways of unique cultures that can still be seen today. Many of Cirebon's cultural artifacts are well-known in the wider community. However, not many know that these cultural artifacts came from Cirebon. Therefore, creating a recreational facility that can collect various cultural products into a center could be a good alternative to introduce tourists to the essentials of Cirebon culture. By carrying out the interior concept of Cirebon glass painting, in addition to providing recreational facilities such as art performances, fish markets, and food court, this center also introduces Cirebon culture, particularly related to coastal areas, through interactive game media that utilizes augmented reality to create a facility that can convey information effectively, uses space efficiently, and eases the management.
