Description
Summary:In the 2018 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), especially in the field of international science, Indonesia occupies the 71st position out of 79 countries. The rankings can be addressed by fostering an interest in science in students and adequate laboratory infrastructure. One of them is the use of virtual laboratories can contribute to improving the teaching and learning process so that students gain additional knowledge and science skills. The use of virtual laboratories for photosynthesis learning can contribute to improving the learning outcomes of participants who follow it. The study developed a threedimensional virtual laboratory for photosynthetic learning and analyzed the impact on learning outcomes. The test was carried out using a crossover repeated measures design, as well as conducting a user perception survey by exposing TAM-ABET (Technology Acceptance Model - Accreditation Board For Engineering And Technology). Two test groups were selected to be used as research objects, a control class and an experimental class. Testing is carried out with 2 periods. Based on the learning outcomes showed a significant increase in learning outcomes from the use of virtual laboratories. Judging from the results of the perception of users, the virtual laboratory that was built was generally positive and beneficial for participants.
