ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Indonesia has 370 tribes and 67 languages. This diversity places Indonesia as the richest <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> country of ethnics and sociocultural. This means, conservation of cultures has to be done <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> whether by the government or the people itself. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Bataks Toba culture as one of the oldest cultures in Indonesia is one of the cultures that <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> has to be reintroduce to youngsters who already became unfamiliar to the culture. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Efforts for conservation, inheritances, and introductions can be done in every kind of way <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> and one of them is by put it to everyday use, which is start with family as the first step to <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> community for human being. Referring to that, the product was based on everyday use in <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> family room, in this case, dining room. Eating as informal activity can be used to inherit <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> culture, its because the atmosphere that created in the activity was made without any <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> pressures and compulsions. This is why the process of inheritance can be well done.
