Indonesia itself has bark cloth which is still produced in Central Sulawesi using various types of plants, and one of them is bea/saeh/paper mulbery (Broussonetia papyrifera). Paper mulberry or bea is an East Asian tree commonly used for paper making. In an effort to provide new innovations in batik techniques and bark cloth materials, this research combines ecoprint techniques with batik techniques, where both these techniques are expected to bring innovations that give rise to other innovations for the application of materials and the use of batik techniques. In the interior industry, it is rare to use raw materials from nature, especially bark. This illustrates the opportunity for the growth of the interior industry by utilizing raw materials from nature, in addition, because this opportunity is expected to provide education about bark material and ecoprint techniques as well as batik techniques. text
