Research to improve entrepreneurship education in higher educational institutions (HEIs) has gained much attention over the past years, especially concerning the teaching ‘for’ entrepreneurship approach. This particular teaching method is characterized with high involvement in real-life entrepreneurial encounters with numerous parties, which is believed to be the best approach for creating entrepreneur graduates. Owing to its complex nature, many challenges persist in conducting and delivering entrepreneurship education. Hence, findings on the success of entrepreneurship education have also been inconsistent due to a lack of a uniform understanding of entrepreneurship education and a framework to guide it.. Especially with the approach of technopreneurship, the need for a framework to assist entrepreneurship education has become more critical. Thus, this paper attempts to provide a framework that would support the delivery of entrepreneurship education “for” entrepreneurship that concentrates on technopreneurship. Considering that teaching and learning process for entrepreneurship and creating new ventures are highly dependent on knowledge and experience, this study integrates entrepreneurship education with knowledge management. Considering the premature level of research on this linkage, this study, therefore, adopts an exploratory case study design. Drawing on the data collected from both primary (interviews and focus group discussions) and secondary (scholarly literature and technical documents) sources, this paper proposes a knowledge management ecosystem framework which facilitates a knowledge intensive and collaborative environment based on community of practice. It is aimed to support the practice of entrepreneurship education for developing entrepreneur graduates with a startup upon their graduation. This paper extends the literature on entrepreneurship education and presents avenues for further inquiry on knowledge management for entrepreneurship education.
