Description
Summary:Pipeline is one of the transportation modes for bulk mass, for example, crude oil. The pipeline asset manager strives to optimize crude oil transmission in various ways, both in manufacturing, inspection, maintenance, and repair. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment of the pipeline to determine its integrity. Risk itself has a definition that is the product of the probability of failure times to its consequences. Therefore, the risk assessment becomes part of the pipeline integrity assessment as an effective measure against future consequences. This final report carried out the assessment of the integrity of the pipeline in this undergraduate assignment for pipelines in the Northwest Java Sea Region with available inspection data. The analysis uses an available program that is built in Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, from this assistance program was found that of the 7 determined segments, segment 3 has red or high risk, while the orange risk (medium-high risk) for segments 1,4,5,6, and 7, and yellow (medium-high risk) risk) for segment 2. The consequence level is at significant criteria for all segments. And then another additional analysis in this undergraduate thesis is the study of free span anomalies. From the 7 available anomalous data, it is concluded that there are 5 spans pass the in-line DNVGL RP F105 level, 1 span through the maximum allowable free span length (MAFSL) Guo level, and the one of paper from JOUC criteria have 6 spans pass MAFSL cross-flow. The calculation results with the JOUC reference being the most conservative MAFSL compared to other references. Calculation of MAFSL by DNVGL RP F105 in MGRID 5-2 zone with the lowest current velocity and MGRID 2-7 zone for the highest, are 0.28 m/s and 0.76 m/s, have MAFSL value for the in-line are 49.55 m and 30.076 m.
