The industry 4.0 concept introduces the trend of automation and interconnectivity (called the Internet of Things) in manufacturing technology. This concept is also applied by PT. Paragon Technology & Innovation, one of the largest cosmetic manufacturing companies in Indonesia. In the production process undertaken, PT. PTI faced a problem in one of the plants in sending cosmetic packaging materials to be filled with liquid filling machines. In the manufacturing process, PT. PTI puts forward the lean manufacturing concept that minimizes waste from various fields to achieve better productivity and reduce overall costs incurred in the manufacturing process. The delivery of cosmetic packaging materials, especially at the Jatake 2 plant, was felt to cause some waste in the lean manufacturing concept, one of which was overproduction. The packaging material preparation which is located quite far from the filling machine workstation area prevents material requests from being carried out, and instead the packaging material preparation workstation sends packaging materials continuously even though there is no demand from the filling machine workstation, which causes overproduction of packaging materials in the workstation area. filling machine. This Final Project aims to explain the development and implementation of a model-view-controller (MVC)-based web application as an automation solution that will provide a request signal (which is divided into a signal to start material preparation and a signal to send packaging material) from the machine workstation area. filler to the packaging material preparation workstation. This web application was developed using the PHP programming language with the help of the Yii-2 framework and a database management called PostgreSQL. Some of the features contained in the application include the CRUD (create-read-update-delete) feature for filling machine workstation data, and a dashboard for packaging material status for each filling machine workstation. text
