Description
Summary:Aquaculture activities are the foundation of inland fishery production. Unfortunately land aquaculture activities are not balanced with adequate water quality and quantity. Cultivation in swift water ponds is reduced by 0.95% per year due to insufficient water quantity in the dry seasons. Meanwhile, cultivation in floating net cages (KJA) itself often experiences mass deaths due to low water quality. This study aims to analyze the condition of the water quality and quantity of inland fisheries in Citarum Hulu and develop them to suit the needs of fish growth and development in inland aquaculture. Analysis of air quality by measuring 5 key parameters, namely temperature, pH, TDS (Total Dissolve Solid), TSS (Total Suspended Solid), and 3B (colorless, odorless, tasteless) at 5 sample points, namely Teras Cikapundung (Rain/Flood), Cikapundung River – Suralaya Bridge (Dry), Cikapundung River – BKR Bridge (Rain/Flood), Ciwidey River (Dry), and Teras Cikapundung (Dry). The results of this study indicate that samples from all points get a decent status on temperature and TDS (Total Dissolve Solid) parameters. As for the pH parameter, samples from the Ciwidey River (Dry) and Teras Cikapundung (Dry) are not feasible, this is probably because the samples were taken during a dry season or dry river which causes the pH value to be lower. For the TSS (Total Suspended Solid) parameter itself, all samples are included in the unfeasible category but the worst is the sample from the Cikapundung River – BKR Bridge (Rain/Flood). For the qualitative test or 3B (colorless, odorless, tasteless) the highest score was the Ciwidey River with 80%, while the one with the lowest score was the Cikapundung River – BKR Bridge (Rain/Flood) with 53.33%. For the quantity of water itself, the Citarum River does not include a healthy river because debit ratio in 2021 exceeds 40.
