This study was conducted to evaluate the used baby diaper recycling program and identify the potential of the program to support recycling. Primary data were collected from observations, interviews, questionnaires, and laboratory tests, while secondary data were collected from PT X, Mitra Waste Bank, and scientific publications. Based on the research, it is necessary to pay attention to cooperation with partner startups in collecting and increasing machine capacity in processing. As for the environmental aspect, this program has the potential to increase the recycling rate by 0.214% (theoretical) and 0% (actual), reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 11.43 tons of CO2 equivalent/month, as well as reduce diseases that may arise, namely cholera, diarrhea, and dysentery. In the social aspect of the community, the Willingness to Participate variable in the baby diaper waste recycling program, the average value of the community's willingness to participate, collect independently, and be picked up is 3.32; 3; and 3.41 out of 4.00 which means that the average community agrees to participate in this program. Then the Willingness and Ability to Pay of the people of Bandung City in the used baby diaper recycling program, the average of 1 month in a row is Rp. 13,400 and Rp. 14,250. In addition, there is the potential for cooperation with other industries in purchasing recycled products, namely plastic and fiber to form a circular economy. In addition, financial feasibility can be seen from 3 BCR scenarios, namely existing conditions, minimum potential, and maximum potential, respectively showing the numbers 2,057; 6,749; and 160,497. text |
