Subsea pipeline is one of the marine building constructions that can be used to drain the oil and natural gas. The subsea pipeline design stage is carried out by designing a wall thickness which is used with reference to DNVGL-ST-F101 in the conditions of installation, hydrotest, and operation. Then, the analysis continued with the installation of thick concrete walls using basic stability referring to DNVGL-RP-F109 in conditions and operations. Then, the analysis continued with the static and dynamic installation analysis. The analysis is continued with the analysis of the free span of the lower pipe with reference to the DNVGL-RPF105. The last analysis is carried out by analyzing the expansion spool stress caused by thermal expansion. The force that occurs in the thermal expansion refers to the Subsea Pipeline Design, Analysis, and Installation by Qiang Bai and Yong Bai. The expansion spool stress analysis was carried out based on the criteria that referred to ASME B31.8. text
