Considering CO concentration background in Bandung that is monitored by BPLH Kota Bandung during 2000 - 2003 and the minimum stack height, maximum CO emission rate from Dayeuh Kolot industrial area is obtained by using Gaussian model. Result shows five stack height levels as follow: 30 m, 50 m, 90 m, 125 m, and 190 m and their maximum CO emission are: 94 gr/s, 208 gr/s, 509 gr/s, 822 gr/s and gr/s 1472 respectively. Simulation of air pollution dispersion from industry in center of Bandung basin area using TAPM is run by applying several stack heights (h = 50 m, h = 100 m, dan h = 200 m) and the same other conditions. The simulations show that generally a higher stack result a lower average and ground level concentrations. However, there are a few periods do not show it because of stability (lapse rate) character and hilly Bandung basin area. text |
