Summary: | During the pandemic, PT Pertamina (Persero) as a state-owned enterprise has the responsibility to meet the needs of the national energy supply, appointing one of its subsidiaries PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental to increase the production of the marine fleet as a means of distribution through Indonesian sea routes. These efforts are in accordance with the target of fulfilling the national new renewable energy resources in the future. Seeing this great potential, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental is expected to be able to maximize business opportunities, especially the provision of a marine fleet. Moreover, this potential is also realized by other business companies. Therefore, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental is expected to periodically improve its business performance to compete globally. However, in its implementation the company has several problems related to knowledge transfer and knowledge loss.
The purpose of this study is to identify problems related to delays in the marine fleet project, propose a knowledge management system, and suggest an implementation plan of the proposed knowledge management system. Therefore, the scientific discipline used in this research is knowledge management. This study uses a qualitative method. Primary data was collected through open questionnaires, while secondary data was collected through websites and company archives. There are three (3) analytical tools used in this study, namely fishbone analysis, PPT knowledge management framework, and the SECI model. All three are summarized into one knowledge management roadmap.
The results showed that there were problems related to the three pillars of knowledge management, namely people, process, and technology. The problems were then processed into the PPT knowledge management framework with the basic objective of knowledge management, until finally the SECI knowledge conversion mechanism was found. The existing good plan will be maintained, and improvements will be made gradually. The implementation plan is designed for a period of six months and can be initiated at any time according to the company's agenda. There are fifteen (15) series of activities and the person in charge of each activity.
