Summary:Abstract : <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Gravity method is one of the geophysical methods that can be used to depict geological structure below the surface. The gravity method in this research is expected to be able to yield information or illustration about geological structure resulted from analysis of the gravity data processing and also sub-surface modelling in the Garut-Indramayu and Bekasi-Jatibarang Profile. This, hopefully will be a good input for geological interpretation. The result of 2D forward modelling using Grav2dc for Windows software indicates existence of tertiery sedimentary basin at several places which has north-south direction and also existence of regional fault structures in the study area along the measured line and normal fault which has west-east to the northwest-southeast. The direction of the structures in the survey area was influenced by the situation of regional geology of the Java Island. The result of 2D forward modelling indicates also the morfological basement condition which has increasing by the depth from south to north at the Garut-Indramayu Profile and decreasing by the depth at Bekasi-Jatibarang Profile.
