Description
Summary:Floods in the capital city of Jakarta are often a problem that is often faced by the government and the community, especially in the city of East Jakarta which has high development due to increasingly dense population growth. Therefore, the developer of the area made a reservoir or retention pond to hold water so that local residents are not affected by flooding. This study aims to analyze the technical efforts that have been applied to existing conditions and to plan pumps to anticipate when the water level of the East Flood Canal rises and the gravity system at the sluice gate must be assisted. In this study, hydrological analysis was carried out with rainfall data from the Tanjung Priok Maritime Meteorological Station from 2000-2019. After obtaining the design rainfall, a hydraulic analysis was carried out using PCSWMM software to analyze the existing discharge capacity. In the analysis carried out, the outflow discharge that will enter the BKT outlet is 6,491 m/s originating from the North site-C reservoir of 3,516 m³/s and the southern site-C reservoir of 2,975 m³/s. Pumps that open 1 unit with a capacity of 3.5 m³/s each to the East Flood Canal. The budget for controlling the flood control system in the area around Jakarta Garden City is Rp. 12,466,517,307
