Description
Summary:PT Lingga Pakuwon Jaya, known as Pakuwon General Hospital Sumedang, is one of the hospitals that has become a referral for Covid-19 patients in Sumedang City which was established on October 11, 1999. In 2020 when the pandemic began, Pakuwon was one of the hospitals that handled Covid-19 virus patients in Sumedang. Since the pandemic, hospital employees' performance has begun to decline, as seen by job responsibilities that have continued to be delayed to the point that it is impossible to complete tasks on time. Using an employee experience approach, this research was undertaken to establish which factors determine employee performance. From these factors, it can be observed which variables can be improved to increase employee performance at Pakuwon Sumedang General Hospital. This study used multilinear regression analysis to find the relationship between employee experience and performance using primary data. After that, this study also uses fishbone analysis to identify the root cause of a problem and get ideas that can provide solutions to solve a problem using primary data. The main data used in this study were questionnaire data, preliminary questionnaires and interviews for business problems, and supporting interviews for fishbone analysis. Based on the experience of employees applied at Pakuwon Sumedang General Hospital which has four variables, namely, cultural, physical space environment, vigor, and growth opportunity. The results of the multilinear regression analysis are multiple in that the variables cultural, growth opportunity, and, vigor has a significant positive influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, the physical space environment variable does not affect employee performance. According to the findings of the fishbone diagram analysis, each variable has a root problem that needs to be addressed to enhance employee performance, that is, everyone feels valued, makes use of many workplace options, cognitive liveliness, and facilitates the mobility of talents. Strategies that can be implemented by Pakuwon Sumedang General Hospital are giving employee experience guidelines to managers, developing accessible talent mobility, re-examining fee claim policies, conducting monthly employee meetings, and providing regular training course competencies.
