The operator fills this logbook system by inputting the work start and finish time. This logbook system causes inaccurate data obtained in the production monitoring system due to manual input. This study aims to develop and implement a real-time remote production activity monitoring system based on the cyber-physical production system (CPPS). The study begins by identifying the data and information needed by a production monitoring system using CPPS. The CPPS design consists of architecture, hardware, and software. The proposed CPPS is tested at CSM. This trial includes adapting the production monitoring system using CPPS to the existing production system for real scenarios and monitoring production activities in real-time on the condition of the production process according to the order. This production activity monitoring system fulfills three requirements: 1) CPPS can automatically perform data retrieval, 2) connectivity between machines and ERP, and 3) real-time monitoring system results. The output of the proposed CPPS system is in the capture of production activities: setup, productive and non-productive, and also provides order tracking of production assignments. text |
