Description
Summary:The rapid development of technology, the number of competitors, the rapid of information, and the changing patterns of society are major challenges for the modern economy. This requires entrepreneurs to invest in improving the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, AI, and Virtual Reality. Digital technology is the main factor driving the modern economy. In addition, Bloomberg data in July 2022 that the possibility of Asian countries being hit by an increased recession. However, in terms of resilience, Asia is better than Europe and America. Bloomberg states that Indonesia's chances of being hit by a recession are 3 percent, far below neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand, which have 10 percent. Meanwhile, the chances of Australia, China and Japan being hit by a recession are higher, at above 20%. To prevent the threat of a recession, Indonesia needs to strengthen MSEs, this is because more than 95% of Indonesians depend on MSEs. The high number of MSEs registered as e-commerce users is a big challenge. This is because digital literacy in Indonesia, such as communication practices, establishing relationships, digital transactions, and other activities related to digital media, is still low. Furthermore, the success of MSEs in America and other developed countries is due to the existence of special training for MSEs. Therefore, it is important for today's organizations to pay attention to new learning organizations and human capital readiness to improve employee performance that will have an impact on the MSEs. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between new learning organizations and human capital readiness with performance. In addition, research is expected to contribute to sustainable competitive advantages, especially for MSEs registered on digital platforms. The design of this study is a crossectional study, using the research method used as descriptive and inferential with the questionnaire survey data collection technique. The total population is 17,250,000 MSEsregistered on digital platforms. By using the probability sampling technique, the incidental sampling approach is known, the minimum number of samples is 400 MSEs registered on digital platforms (E-commerce) (precision value of 5% or 0.05). The results of the study prove that there is a significant positive relationship between new learning organizations with individual performance, human capital readiness with individual performance, and new learning organizations with human capital readiness. In addition, human capital readiness can be mediation between the two variables in low mediation (p-value < 0,01/CI99% untul 0,10/CI 90%).
